Google AdWords with Conversion-Tracking

We use the advertising component, Google AdWords, on our website and “Conversion-Tracking”. This is an internet service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

By means of the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active Google guarantees that the EU data protection requirements are adhered to during the processing of data in the USA.

We use Conversion Tracking for targeted advertising of our range. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the analysis, optimisation and cost-effective operation of our website.

If the cookie is still valid and you visit a specific page on our website both we and Google can analyse that you have clicked on one of our ads positioned by Google and you were then transferred to our website.

Information collected in this way enables Google to create a statistical breakdown concerning the visit to our website. We also receive information because of this concerning the number of users who have clicked on our ad(s) and concerning the pages that they then accessed on our website. However, neither we nor third parties who also use Google AdWords will be able to identify you in doing so.

You can also prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by means of the corresponding settings of your internet browser. You can also delete cookies that have already been saved at any time. The steps and measures necessary to do so do, however, depend on the specific internet browser that you use. If you have any questions please use your internet browser’s help function or documentation or contact the manufacturer or customer support team for your internet browser.

Furthermore Google also provides more detailed information at

Google Remarketing or “similar target groups” components of Google

We use Remarketing or the “similar target groups” function on our website. This is an internet service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the analysis, optimisation and cost-effective operation of our website.

In order that this advertising service can be enabled Google stores a cookie with a numerical sequence via your internet browser on your terminal during your visit to our website. If you then visit a third party website who also use the Google advertising network, where possible ads will appear that are related to our website or our offers.

The use of cookies by specific providers e.g. can also be deactivated at http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices or http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ using an opt-out.

By means of “Cross Device Marketing” Google can potentially track your usage behaviour across several terminal devices in order that, wherever, possible interest-related, personalised advertising will be displayed even when you change your terminal device. This does, however, assume that you have agreed to your browser history being linked to your existing Google account.

Google provides more detailed information on Google Remarketing at http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/ an.
